"Wears like Iron" 2009-02-24
By A. Schmidt (midwest, USA)
These are the most durable pants I've ever worn. I used to wear them daily for industrial HVAC and pipefitting work, and now I wear the same pairs for solar installation. I've shred a few pairs of jeans crawling on asphalt shingles and abrasive concrete roof tiles putting in solar systems. The denim literally falls apart. The Dickies cotton duck pants don't even show signs of wear. Completely durable. They are cut on the slim side, so the advice others have given is true...if you're used to wearing a big pant like a Carhartt, you'll want to go a size up.

"Best buy in carpenter pants" 2009-02-18
By Currahee (South Mississippi)
I like to wear pants that can be ironed for a business casual look or worn outdoors in rugged activities. I am used to paying 30-50 dollars for "work pants" from companies like 5.11, Columbia or Carhart. I have found that after continuous washings, once a week or so, that all of them will show wear. Yeah I can still wear them outside, but if they are going to show wear like that, what was all the money for? These pants, with the denim like material actually resist wear (both from use and washing) better than the more expensive brands I have tried. They are also quite comfortable in all but the hottest weather and ride quite well. These are the best pants for my money. I have even tried to justify the more expensive brands with a "buy American" attitude, but it turns out they are all made in third world sweat shops.

"Decent, medium-weight work pants" 2008-10-25
By Pietro (Fairfield, CT)
I got these for my carpentry projects; they are decent, medium-weight work pants that are on the low-rise side...they sit lower, on my hip, more than most work pants I have that rest on the waist. Made in Mexico, of strong, triple-stitched 100% "Duck Cloth" Cotton. They seem to be on the snugger side, so you should err in favor of the next size up if you're unsure.

"CLASSIC AND FAVORITE" 2008-03-18
By MRS. ENA
MY HUSBAND LOVES DICKIES, AND HE REALLY LIKED THESE. HE WEARS HIS PANTS LOOSE, AND WE BUY SZ 38'S ALL THE TIME, BUT FOR SOME REASON THESE 38'S ARE VERY SNUG AROUND HIS THIGHS, SO WE HAVE TO SEND THEM BACK AND GET A BIGGER SIZE. IF YOU ARE A MAN WHO WANTS TO FEEL COMFORTABLE AND LIKE AIR CIRCULATION THEN I SUGGEST YOU GO ABOUT A SIZE BIGGER IN THESE.
